The Tayelet

The Tayelet (“promenade” in Hebrew) is Tel Aviv’s beachside promenade or broad walk that runs the entire length of Tel Aviv’s coast from Jaffa to the Tel Aviv port. It is always teeming with a life of its own as well as providing access to the beach and the sea.

Nothing beats the feeling of being in the seaside — breathing the fresh, salty air of Mediterranean. With the Old Jaffa to the south and the city’s towering skyscrapers, the Tayelet is considered by many as one of the most beautiful seaside boardwalks in the world.

Sit on the bench as life at the Tayelet unfolds before your eyes with beach-goers, paddle tennis players, cyclists and joggers doing their thing as you are taking in the sea breeze and hearing the waves crashing gently on the shore.
